I am currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, hosted by Prof. Sen Li. I am also very fortunate to have had Prof. Li as my Postdoc advisor previously.

I obtained my PhD degree in Information and Communication Engineering through a joint program between Harbin Institute of Technology and Southern University of Science and Technology, advised by Prof. Linni Jian. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from China Agricultural University, advised by Prof. Tianjun Jing.

Research interests

My scholarly pursuits are concentrated at the Nexus of

• Transportation,
• Energy,
• and Market,

facilitated by Electric Vehicle (EV) and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technologies.

These interests are further advanced through the deployment of machine learning, mathematical optimization, and heuristic algorithm.

The overarching goal is to amplify the operational performance of transportation electrification, which in turn significantly improves the efficiency and sustainability of urban infrastructure in smart cities.
